ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. The role is to proactively contribute to the strategic planning and provide safely leadership to the organisation and manager all areas associated with safety initiates. Contribute strategic advice and expertise regarding the development and implementation of change management programs. Provide advice and monitor any issues identified. You will also be working across all sites across Australia. This role can potentially be ongoing.

DUTIES
  • Support and lead the National team
  • Assist and develop the organisations current and futures safety strategy by running WHS workshops
  • Train, review and implement current safety training to managers and leaders
  • Working with audit planning and compliance
  • Implement 2-3 safety cross functional projects based on current business plan

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar industry / national role
  • Previous experience in Comcare will be highly regarded
  • Strong safety focus
  • High standard of execution
  • Strategic leadership skills
  • Ability to influence behavior
  • Strong people management
  • Must be a permanent resident in Australia
