Your new company

Our client are a leading supply chain solutions provider who are a market leader in their space. With an established clientele that continues to grow - they have excelled for 15+ years, providing full end-to-end supply chain solutions across a variety of industries, even maintaining growth during 2020.

Due to substantial growth our client is looking to add a new Business Development Manager to their team.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the 'Head of Sales' your responsibilities will be, but not limited too:

Accountable for the developing new business and hitting yearly your annual new business target
A strong focus on budget Revenue and gross margin
Maintain weekly lead generation focus
Have a strong focus on a long term pipeline ensuring all new business targets are frequently approached
Project manage the implementation/on-boarding process for new clients
Compliance to CRM re: pipeline, on-boarding, and implementation
Responsible for the handover process of new clients to the dedicated Account Manager
Effective write up of contract/commercials for customers and suppliers
Enhance sales capability throughout the business
Have a strong relationship with the 'Head of Sales' through weekly meetings and contact in regards to potential new business
Contributing to maintaining the Sales Revenue and portfolio of the customer
Overall understanding of Sales, Finance, Billing, Business Analysis and Quality Control along with the ways in which these areas impact upon the day to day operations.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 3 years industry experience in a Business Development or Account Management role
Strong understanding of a Sales pipeline
Experience in a KPI setting
A Proven record of adapting and dealing with everchanging conditions presented by account stakeholders
Strong experience in managing relationships and being an advocate for the customer

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the company
