About the role

The Principal Project Specialist - Occupations and Disruptions will be responsible for the client side leadership and management of the rail operational interface processes for Rail Projects Victoria (RPV). The role will manage a range of scheduling and occupations/ transport related issues across the project. The role will provide leadership and strategic direction, enabling best for project outcomes. A major element of the role will include building and maintaining strong working relationships and an ability to influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Key stakeholders this role will interact with include PTV, MTM, V/Line, Yarra Trams,VicRoads, LXRA and HCMT.

The Design Interface Manager will be responsible for client-side management of the design, development and engineering associated with the Rail Systems Work Package. The role will call on both project development and delivery management experience relating to signalling and related rail systems in major brownfield rail projects including integration across multiple disciplines and stakeholder organisations including Public Transport Victoria (PTV), VicTrack, Rail Operators, LXRA and interface projects. The role will also be responsible for managing a team of technical advisors and provide expert technical advice and guidance across a range of engineering and design issues. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and manage and communicate project implications of complex technical issues is fundamental for success in this role.

An opportunity may emerge during the delivery phase to take on a key active role within either the Rail Infrastructure Alliance or Rail Systems Alliance.

The Project Safety Advisor will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on the development, implementation and auditing of health and safety systems on major transport infrastructure projects. The focus of the role will be on monitoring contract performance, relationship management, and providing sound advice in accordance with legislative requirements and industry best practices.

Working with minimal supervision, this position requires solid technical knowledge and experience to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of key health and safety initiatives and strategies. Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders are vital.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Industry Engagement, Aboriginal Workforce and Enterprises, this role is responsible for leading and engaging with RPV's delivery partners to monitor and assess the performance and delivery of State Requirement's contractual obligations.

Manager, State Requirements will be required to prepare briefs, reports, documents and reports on the achievements in line with the States requirements while maintaining strong relationships with teams and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high level communication, interpersonal and consultative skills.

The Safety Support Officer provides a range of safety related support functions for Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) and the program of works in both development and delivery. This position manages compliance with workplace Occupation Health and Safety requirements at the various RPV team offices, ensures RPV staff are appropriately trained and equipped to undertake work outside the office and manage supplier contractors. The role will be required to initiate and implement appropriate action plans for urgent matters. Excellent communication skills and outstanding organisation skills are critical for this role.
